Coat Boston and The Holiday Shop provide new coats, accessories, and gift items to non-profit organizations and public schools in Boston for distribution to individuals in the Boston communities they serve.

The need for assistance by Boston’s residents has increased dramatically over recent years. We ask that you prioritize the children and families with the greatest need when requesting items.  Our ability to fill requests is completely based upon donations received from our partner organizations in the Boston area, and this varies from year to year.

We regret that we cannot provide assistance directly to individuals – all distributions will be made through the Boston-based schools and social service agencies that we partner with. If you are an individual seeking assistance, please contact a social service agency in your community.
